The Rockbridge Artillery was formed for the re-creation of actions and events, in and around the Civil War. We are here to inform,educate, and help bring history to life, so that the general public has a better understanding of how things were done, and what life was like for the soldiers, during the Civil War. May our actions be informed from our past.
As registered members of the DNV we are but one unit of many,to create a time in the past when our country was in turmoil over a distinct difference of opinion, regarding the direction in which our country was moving.
Membership to the Rockbridge is by invitation, not association. We require our members to be the best trained, authentic and most knowledgeable regarding the Civil War.
